Cacique. so Nick..What’s the concept behind Privilege Pool ?
Nick Gold. Much like the disguised undertones of SLS, Privilege is an adult day club with a cheeky, playful vibe. As you know, we like to be a bit disruptive! We like to make things a little different and have some fun with our guests. Everyone is welcome at Privilege. It’s an upmarket yet relaxed setting, without any elitist undertones. People come to the Bahamas to have a good time and they don’t want to have to make a particular effort. We invite them to come in and enjoy the party, have a cocktail, enjoy the music and dance like nobody is watching!

C. Why would Privilege be the perfect venue for groups ?
NG. We want people to be feel comfortable. We’ve all seen the big pool parties in Vegas and we wanted something more intimate. We tweaked the initial design to incorporate more of a fun, party vibe. As far as events go, Privilege offers the potential for really exclusive experiences in a private setting. Privilege is available for private hire for parties as big as 500 from Monday through Thursday during the day. It is also available for take over from 7:30- 11:00pm on Friday through Sundays. Every piece of poolside furniture is movable - pergolas and cabanas included. This space is very flexible. In regard to food and beverage, the sky is the limit - you name it we can do it!
C. walk us through the seating situation here, there seems to be quite a few options ?
NG. We wanted to have something for everyone. Not only with seating arrangements but also on our menus. If you are a couple and want some sun, we’ve got the sun loungers or chaises. If you are a group of 10 or more and you want your own little area but don’t want to be too detached from the party, then the pergolas are great and they come with their own fridge so you can have chilled drinks at the ready! We’ve also got cabanas for slightly smaller groups. No matter where you’re seated you’re part of the party!
