President of Cacique International, Shawn M. Sawyer earned his stripes as Convention Services Manager at Nassau’s iconic Crystal Palace Resort & Casino, before establishing The Bahamas’ first Destination Management Company in 1997. During this time, Cacique’s budding President & Creative Director developed certain key principles that would serve the company to this day - a keen eye for detail, a passion for crafting extraordinary experiences, and a deep understanding of what clients want when they travel for incentive trips, meetings, conferences and events.

Over two decades later, Cacique International remains the region’s premier DMC, combining a powerful global network with authentic local savvy, expertise and resources.
